कविता : बोन्साई

पेड़ों को गहरी धरती चाहिए होती है ; पेड़ों को प्रशस्त आकाश चाहिए

आज के संपन्न, सभ्य आदमी के पास न धरती है, न आकाश

पर पेड़ उसे चाहिए।

वह पेड़ को बोन्साई बना लेता है गमलों में पेड़ उगाए जाते हैं

पेड़ बौना हो जाता है, पर पूर्ण रूप से उपयोगी रहता है;

बिना धरती के, बिना सम्भावनाओं की भूख के ।

चतुर आदमी अपनी सन्तान को बोन्साई बना लेता है ।

Bonsai

A tree needs deep earth, it needs wide sky

Successful man of today does not have either

But he must have tree, he is an accomplished individual

He converts the tree into a Bonsai, trees are raised in pots

The tree becomes dwarf, but retains all the relevant useful characteristics

Without earth, without aspirations to reach to the sky

A clever man transforms his offspring into Bonsai.
